Same person has an active ad posted on LL for Halifax. Both posted same day. Just two different profiles. Or they don’t display as having ads in multiple cities at the same time. Guessing just another time waster trying to lure people into paid subscription to start communication. Even the OF account implies they are 3 miles away with a pin emoji. But that isn’t real. They can type whatever they want for location as long as it’s less than 64 characters. So I am very skeptical myself. I just view it as different looking scam.

And another identical ad in Fredericton. As you scroll thru the ads, you can actually see all of the same posters with identical ads in all three cities. All just scams IMO.

Hey, MorningWood. You're quite right... This is one of the famillar "No meets unless you buy my content first" deals. But as we both know, there's no meet. It's just a scam (and, it IS a scam, guys) to entice would-be clients to purchase content. Since I have an OF account, I took one for the team, so to speak, and chatted this one up to see how far they'd take it. They actually tried to convince me that my buying their content was the only way that I could prove I was "sincere" about meeting them, and not just wasting their time. The promise of getting "meet-ups" in exchange for content purchases is always a red flag, and is just another way of sending payments in advance for services that simply won't come. Something we're constantly warning our members NOT to do. With this one in particular, I gave them the chance to show they were legit and invited them to check out our little site and see that I'm all that I say I am... politely declined, of course.

Hey HR. Well good news is it only cost you $4. And thanks for sharing the additional details of them asking you to purchase even more money. That $4 price probably results in plenty of clicks. A probably adds up. Especially if promoting it in many cities. Don’t forget to cancel your subscription before it renews at full price. Cheers!
